Columbus native David Koepf discovered a passion for cooking while helping his aunt prepare holiday dinners. He started working in kitchens 12 years ago while pursuing a degree in Food Business Management from The Ohio State University. Koepf’s kitchen experience began at Patrick J’s Pub and Grill (Clintonville). After completing his bachelor’s degree, Koepf completed the Culinary Apprenticeship program at Columbus State Community College.
Koepf’s culinary resume includes Flipside (Easton), Natalie’s Coal Fired Pizza (Worthington), Plate (New Albany) and Z Cucina (Dublin). Prior to joining the team at Novella, Koepf worked in banquets and the restaurant at the Hilton (Easton). When not cooking the menu at Novella, Koepf enjoys cooking barbecue and egg sandwiches.
